Today I've set up a petition to make my state a GMO free state! We, as well as many others, want to make Tennessee a GMO free state. This is the first step in that direction. We all know what GMO is and that it is extremely unhealthy for us. Hawaii is already a GMO free state. Canada has many GMO free food products, a lot more than the US. We want to be a part of the GMO free community and be a little healthier.
Have you ever used an online petition before? When someone sign the petition, that signature is sent to the person being petitioned, in this case it's the Tennessee Governor, the Tennessee Senate, and a Tennessee Representative. When hundreds or even thousands of people raise their voices about an issue they care about, the message is very hard to ignore. That is what I'm trying to accomplish.
